We completed this case several years ago and still see this patient for reviews to make sure we have the results we finished with. We straightened the teeth in three months and then completed some bonding on a lateral tooth to improve its final shape. This is a common occurrence as once teeth are in the right place the shape may require improvement to complete the smile. This is super easy and is often completed when we fit the bonded retainer. Retention is key to keeping results. Retention is usually done using night-time retainers or a wire on the back of the teeth. I use both!! For maximum retention.
